Steampunk Madness

Putting together a steampunk piece is almost like putting together one of those 1000-2000 piece puzzles with similar colors that make your eyes cross, yet you can't move from your spot at the table until you get that piece to fit just right! You can spend hours and hours on it, pure, giddy, crazy steampunkish fun! So we had a little steampunk fit this last weekend and made some rings check them out at my etsy shop!

My little bambina modeled for me! Here's a few more pieces we've put together;
I love those gears!!!

So we had a great day at Roses and Rust! We sold a bunch made a ton of new friends and I'm hoping to go back next year! Everyone was so cool, there was one lovely lady who came around with free cheese and crackers during the day, and then at the end of the day she offered us some apple cider or red wine it was just so nice of her! Wish I would've found out who she was I'd send her a thankyou card or a necklace or something. The only bad thing, I forgot my camera! So I couldn't take any pictures of our booth, but I think it looked okay. We purchased a few frames and stands from our neighbors shabby chic and vintage finds, and we were able to put together a nice display. All in all it was fun! And my team and I had a great time putting it together and offering our one of kind pieces! Thanks to Toni for working so hard setting up (oh and watching my brats get wet in the water fountains), and of course our artist elite, Debbie!  Well, I'll be posting a bunch more of the latest creations we have at our etsy shop at least 5-10 new pieces per day...depending on how many diapers blow outs and little disasters I have during the day!

I'm Back!

I took a few months hiatus from the blogging world, but I'm back with exciting new stuff! So what happened in the meantime??...Just life...I got some gorgeous tomatoes from my garden, never completed it like I wanted but I had my nephew do some work and cleaned it up a bit. Kids started school, and I'm actually loving the cold weather! Finally I can quit feeling like I'm going to melt...Anyway, my exciting news is this weekends show: Roses and Rust! October 8 at the Gover Ranch in Anderson. I'm just bursting at the seams! I can't wait to get out there! I have a little preview of the stuff we have available. My team and I have been working round the clock to make custom jewelry, so there is something for everyone. Check out these awesome designs! oh and I'm glad to be back...hope you'll follow me.

Puffy Eye Morning

Last night I watched the movie My name is Khan, it's basically a love story about a man with Asperger's Syndrome, he's Muslim and what happens to him after 9/11. I cried so much my eyes feel like they're going to pop out of my head. Anyway, great movie but you need at least 2 1/2 hours and I would recommend an entire box of Kleenex!

Moving right along... I made a couple of rings last week for Wedding season...take a look:
Here's a couple of other ones I did that I thought turned out pretty well:

We also planted sunflowers along the fence...if the birds haven't eaten them yet we should have some 12 footers by mid summer!

Giving our baby seedlings a nice drink! Oh and what happens inside the house when all this wonderful gardening is going on outside?....take a look at this:
